Annie Houston is an acclaimed stage actor, educator, and storyteller whose career in Washington, D.C. theater spanned nearly three decades. She brought to life both classical and contemporary roles at The Shakespeare Theater, The Folger Shakespeare Theater, and Theater Alliance, earning critical praise and a Helen Hayes nomination for her powerful, heartfelt performances.

Born into a family of educators, Annie carried her parents’ passion for learning into her own life’s work teaching children of all ages and blending art with education through her puppet company and workshops on Shakespeare’s language.
